Description-Overview The Clinical Research Associate organizes many operational aspects of research project activities, resources, overall clinical data and protocol management for the conduct of clinical trials at Yuma Regional Medical Center. This individual is responsible for screening and recruitment of eligible patients, patient education and follow-up, preparation of case report forms, accurate protocol documentation, and drug accountability, collection of data required by the individual protocol. This
position
requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with patients regarding study risks and benefits, ability to educate patients, compassion and a desire to help people. The Clinical Research Associate uses strong communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, along with knowledge and judgment in the completion of oncology research activities following appropriate guidelines. Job Description-Education Associate Degree in healthcare, science, or related field. Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Clinical Research Certificate or SOCRA Certified. Bilingual (English and Spanish). Job Description -Experience 2 years of research, clinical field, healthcare, project management, and/or related professional experience. Word processing and spreadsheet
computer
skills are essential. Computer proficiency (must be able to pass computer proficiency assessment). Experience Preferred: 5 years clinical research experience.
