Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical/Dental Receptionist to join our healthcare facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure efficient operation in a medical/dental office setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer and manage incoming calls, (prefer 2 yrs experience) - Schedule patient appointments and maintain schedule - Verify insurance information and assist with billing inquiries - Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy - Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently - Assist with medical scheduling and coordinating patient flow - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous 2
years experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred - Proficiency with office procedures, phone systems, and computer software - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical records - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Front desk or receptionist experience is a plus - Dental front office experience OR Medical front office is mandatory This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you can contribute to the well-being of patients while developing your administrative skills.
