Yuma Nursing Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing/rehab facility.
Nurse leadership is stable and supportive.
We offer full and part time 8 hour shifts with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Electronic Medical documentation required - Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service - Overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs - Working closely with family members and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and record patient vital signs - Assist with wound care and dressing changes - Conduct patient assessments and document findings - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases - Ability to lift and move patients as needed - Perform basic IV therapy and venipuncture procedures if RN
Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved college/school of nursing - Valid LPN/RN license in the state of Arizona - Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, documentation and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively - Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills - Ability to handle multiple priorities - Reliable and with good attendance Job Types:
