00 an hour YUMA HEAT SWIM TEAM is looking to add part-time assistant coaches to their rock star staff! Every position at the Yuma Heat Swim Team upholds principles that are central to the mission of the Yuma Heat Swim Team by modeling behaviors that reflect our team values, identity, and culture.
If you love swimming and want to be a part of shaping athletes' character and helping them achieve their goals! Look no further we WANT YOU! ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / KNOWLEDGE:
? Complete coaching credentials through USA swimming as required yearly.
? Write and implement workouts for each practice.
? Participate in coaching meetings.
? Physically and verbally able to interact with members and staff.
? Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
? Strong core values that include respect, trust, and integrity ? Ability to provide consistent, positive motivation to primary ages of 6 to 19 yrs.
old ? Recognition of the value of every swimmer and the developmental nature of Age Group kids.
? Strong organizational skills and attention to detail ? Passion and enthusiasm for competitive swimming and a desire to excel professionally.
JOB HOUR RANGES:
Part-time position:
Hours vary from 3- 20 hours per week; Afternoon/Evening Weekend hours are required for local swim meets and practices for some squads.
