YUMA NURSING CENTER is a 120 bed skilled nursing/rehab facility.
Nurse leadership is stable and supportive.
Full or Part time flexible shifts.
Come join our team under our leadership with our new administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service - Overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs - Working closely with family members and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way
Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved college/school of nursing - Have a current state license as an RN or LPN - A minimum of one (1) year experience in long term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, and/or full service operations - Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care - Electronic Medical documentation required - Ability to handle multiple priorities - Reliable and with good attendance - Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills - Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor and record patient vital signs - Assist with wound care and dressing changes - Conduct patient assessments and document findings - Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases - Perform basic IV therapy and venipuncture procedures Requirements:
- Valid LPN/RN license in the state of Arizona - Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices - Experience with gastric lavage, neonatal ventilators, and special needs patients is a plus - Ability to lift and move patients as needed - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Job Types:
