Yuma Campus Benefit Eligible SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
This position provides clerical/administrative support for a specific department and serves as the point of contact.
This position is the second level in the Administrative Assistant Family.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
Serves Students.
Provides daily clerical/administrate support to faculty, staff, and students in the assigned department/location.
Oversees the front desk/area by answering phones, filing, and responding to inquiries in person, emails, and other forms of communication.
Provides coverage for others while out of the office.
Creates and closes Worker Orders and Preventive Maintenance Orders.
Communicates to the corresponding areas supervisor any high-level attention needs.
Directs vendors, students, and visitors to various locations on campus.
Sorts mail and distributes mail daily.
Run reports, file, and purge files.
Backup to the Office Manager; Orders supplies for office and staff.
May create requisitions, and assist with PCard reconciliation duties.
Reserve rooms for maintenance and meetings.
Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
