Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain medical records - Ensure accuracy and completeness of client information in medical records - Retrieve and file medical records as needed - Assist with the release of medical records to authorized individuals or organizations - Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate documentation Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Strong computer skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team This position requires a strong understanding of office operations and the ability to handle sensitive patient information.
The Medical Records Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring the smooth flow of information within the facility.
Ordering and obtaining medical records and medical billing, ordering medical liens, noticing liens, assisting staff with records.
