8K a year 21 hours ago 21 hours ago 21 hours ago Aspect Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been leading the way in high school international exchange for over 30 years! We are seeking local representatives to oversee the student exchange in Yuma and surrounding areas.
Our local coordinators work with international high school students from many countries who come to the USA to experience life with a host family, improve their English skills, and attend a local high school.
Responsibilities:
Recruit host families for incoming exchange students Educate host families and students about the exchange program Provide supervision and guidance to host families and students throughout the exchange program Coordinate and plan cultural activities for exchange students Monitor student progress and report any issues or concerns Requirements:
Strong communication skills Access to a personal computer and internet Reliable transportation Pass a criminal background check Minimum 25 years of age Most of our coordinators work full-time jobs and do this on the side for a fun, rewarding experience.
This is an excellent fit for a stay-at-home parent, teacher, empty nester, or someone just looking to make a cultural difference in your community.
Prior experience working with teens/and or other cultures is a plus! Please note that this is a part-time, commissioned position.
You will receive $1,350 for every year-long student that you work with, and $975 for every semester student.
