Qualifications:
1.
High school diploma or GED required.
2.
Shall have knowledge of business English, spelling, math, modern office equipment, business practices and procedures and software applications.
3.
Shall have the ability to work and communicate effectively with community, Board, students and staff members.
4.
Ability to speak/write Spanish preferred.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:
Responds to routine telephone requests which have standard answers; refers calls, visitors and incoming correspondence to appropriate staff.
May compose, edit, type, duplicate and proof correspondence, reports and other confidential documents.
Maintains accurate office records, including, but not limited to, employee and/or student absence records, purchase requisitions, statistical information and travel requests.
Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
REPORTS TO:
Building or Department Administrator TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Work year, salary and benefits as established by the Board.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position shall be evaluated by the department/building administrator in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
