7 Full-time 12 hours ago Full Job Description Are you passionate about providing support in a patient care environment, but not interested in the clinical side of the work? Administrative Assistants with YRMC are tasked with a variety of clerical duties that vary by department but typically include report and presentation preparation, handling of confidential information, managing calendars / appointments and scheduling meetings, as well as assisting management staff with projects and document preparation.
Computer proficiency, particularly excellent typing and phone skills as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Office are necessary for this role.
Tower 5 is a 36-bed private room medical/surgical patient care department that provides excellent care and customer service for patients being treated for general medical conditions, including acute stroke, and patients recovering from surgery.
36 telemetry beds are available to monitor and support this patient population.
Our model of care is based on patient-family centered care concepts.
Tower 5 and Tower 4 are sister units; our staff members provide care to both patient populations.
Tower 4 is also a 36-bed, private room unit that primarily are for patients recovering from general, orthopedic, trauma, and specialty surgeries.
16 telemetry beds are available on Tower 4.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED At least 3 years related experience Preferred
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Health Care, Administration, or a related field Work Schedule:
8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday Physical Requirements and working conditions for this position will be provided to you upon interview.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
